Woodland Food Closet is operated entirely by volunteers, with the exception of a part-time paid Coordinator. Approximately 65 individuals volunteer their time to keep the Food closet operating. A Board of Directors, comprised of community members, governs the program.
The Woodland Food Closet relies on the assistance of community members like you to continue feeding families.
Volunteer 2 hours a month to the Woodland Food Closet to pack groceries for referred families.
Volunteer to sort through donated canned goods at various times throughout the year.
Help with fundraising mailers and events.
Volunteer one morning a week at the closet to help unload boxes, sort food, stock shelves, break down larger items, and clean.
Donate canned food, fresh food or toiletries.
Invite a Woodland Food Closet representative to speak at your church, civic, or youth meetings.
Urge your church, business, or civic group to become more active in the Woodland Food Closet.
Make a financial donation to help purchase food.
Without our volunteers, the Woodland Food Closet would not be able to provide our services to those in need in our community.
